WINDOWS ON LIFE
through one window, there is night, there is life,
through this window, a world of lonely souls
ever searching, in a quest for the unknown
that magic thing, that'll make life worth living.
through one window i see people run and play,
and boy and girl and light and music
do they know why they run, ... as from a fright?
or is that life, whilst i but observe?
through the other, the little twinkling lights,
cyber identities flitting to and fro
not quite knowing who they are, will be
is this the future, or but another angle?
whatever the truth may be
in both my reflection i see
and i wonder to myself
what those who look in do see?
then again the truth i do believe,
the search is for another,
two windows to her soul and my dreams, may be
the key to happiness, to life, to love...
THO BE NOT THESE THREE, THE SAME TO YOU AND ME?
