My Wish
As the pregnant moon of this new season plays peekaboo
on the horizon and the sun smiles a last goodbye,
i'll hug you till the stars light up the sky...
as the ocean rolls into land and out to sea again
and the seagulls hover to count the grains of sand,
i'll walk with you and hold your hand...
as the clouds on high where the birds fly free
and meet and talk in thunderous voices,
i have made my choices...
to share this life with you and to join my soul to yours,
till the end of time,
this be the only wish of mine.
